Attending a NEMF foray is one of the best ways to advance your fungal ID powers.  Lots of great workshops, forays, lectures and myco-knowledge.  NEMF forays are comparable to NAMA forays, with many of the same mycologists in attendance. This year, it'll be held at Lock Haven University, just few hour drive from the D.C. metro area.
