It's February, and cold, and a sparse time of year for macrofungi. However, it's the perfect time of year to learn about lichens, which is why we're so very glad to have Dr. Natalie Howe join us as our guest lecturer. We're learning lichens this month, and it's going to be great fun(gi)!
In addition to our main presentation, we'll also have a short program about 'Summer Mushrooms' from Fluff Berger of the Western Pa Mush Club. That ought to make you forget about the cold for awhile, and put you in a good summertime mood. Warm weather, and morel season, will be here soon!
We'll be virtual again this month, via Zoom. Here are the login credentials, including passcode should you need it.
