This month we're going to hear from one of the most respected names in mycology, Dr. Anne Pringle.  Anne, a former professor at Harvard, and currently at the University of Wisconsin, will be telling us about the physics of spore dispersal.  Yeah, I know, that may not sound like a very glamorous subject, but just you wait and see.  In our speaker's very capable hands, along with cutting edge high-speed micro-photography, by the time we arrive at the end of this talk you'll be wishing for more.

Our short program this month is going to bring music to your ears as MAWDC's Tom Moore tells us about the avant-garde composer John Cage, and how this passionate amateur mycologist, and iconic composer, left an indelible mark on our beloved fifth kingdom.
