Come join MAW for a weekend of mushrooming activities in the Laurel Highlands of southwestern Pennsylvania. Our foray at the Sequanota conference center has been an annual MAW event for more than 35 years, and it's a great opportunity to quickly advance your ID skills, get to know other mushroom enthusiasts, and have a lot of fun.
Our guest mycologists this year will be Thomas Roehl & Django Grootmyers. Many of you will remember Thomas from his time at MAWDC a few short years ago, before he departed to obtain a professional degree in mycology at the University of Wisconsin. Django too will be familiar for many of us as a guest mycologist, and mycological savant, from other regional mycology events in the past. Django is currently pursuing a doctorate from the University of Tennessee. We couldn't be happier to have Django and Thomas as guests this year, and we're sure you will too!
Full weekend participation includes 5 meals (Saturday breakfast to Sunday lunch) and access to all programs. Saturday-only participation includes 2 meals on Saturday and access to all Saturday programs.
