Join MAWDC Science Advisor Megan Romberg and Senior Park Naturalist, Georgie Hardesty in a stroll through the Cosca Park grounds. Meet at the Nature Center and learn about the mushrooms through hands-on experience during the walk, at the same time that you help collect specimens to display the next day during the Mushroom Fair. The walk will focus on basic identification with discussion about the ecology of mushrooms. Please dress for the weather, bring your own reusable water bottle, and be prepared to hike through natural surface trails and uneven ground. FREE. Registration required. Spaces limited.
